A Mental Hygienist
To help you encompasses the practices and habits that maintain and improve your mental well-being

I believe in a holistic approach to therapy—healing the mind, body, and soul as a collective is essential to the healing process. While each individual and their circumstances are unique, I often begin therapy using the cognitive behavioral model, which focuses on reframing thoughts to support and encourage positive change. I integrate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help you work toward the goals you identify for treatment.
I specialize in working with couples, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those navigating challenges related to stress, depression, anxiety, work-related concerns, family conflicts, relationship issues, and family planning. My goal is to empower you to find solutions and develop habits that align with the life you want to live. Together, we will create a personalized treatment plan using SMART goals, ensuring that our time is guided by your needs and aspirations. Sessions will be a space for open conversation, skill-building, and meaningful progress toward your goals.
I value your desire to be heard and validated. You will always be met with support, respect, and a judgment-free space where you can openly explore your thoughts and emotions. I take the time to understand your experiences and tailor services to meet your individual needs because no two people are exactly alike.
As a licensed psychotherapist in Georgia, I have been serving the community for over ten years, providing group, family, and individual counseling. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California and my Bachelor of Social Work from Clark Atlanta University. I am also a military veteran, a spouse, and a mother, which has deepened my understanding of compassion, resilience, and grace.
Congratulations on taking the first step toward change. I look forward to working with you and getting to know you.
